Baian BaattaiahBaian was born and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In 2008, she was awarded her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Her final research paper was entitled “The Importance of VBI Testing In Patients With Cervical Spondylosis”. Abroad in the States in 2012, Baian earned her Masters' Degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University, and was fortunate to be involved with a research project which helped her understand the fundamentals of how to conduct research. Thereafter, Baian has followed the profession’s transition and received her Post Professional Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2014.

Baian has always been insistent and highly ambitious in realizing her dreams, especially of becoming a distinctive physical therapist. She has also always dreamed about being a professor in the field to enable her to pass along all of the skills and knowledge to the next generation of physical therapists in her country. Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation is the field that has peaked her interests along with obesity and vestibular function.
