Notice of Accreditation
George Mason University’s College of Public Health is an applicant for accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
Important Accreditation Process Details:
On May 20, 2022, CEPH accepted George Mason’s application to transition to the school of public health category of accreditation. The College’s final self – study is due on November 4, 2024 and the site visit will take place on December 4-6, 2024.

Request for Third Party Comments
The College of Public Health at George Mason University is undergoing a review by CEPH for an initial accreditation. Part of this process includes a provision of a third-party comment period, which allows anyone, including students, alumni, faculty, staff, community and practice partners, and members of the public, to share relevant information about the school directly with CEPH.
