Season of Giving
Now Through December 15
The support of our donors empowers students to improve the public’s health—not just in local communities but around the world. Donors have the opportunity to support the Student Scholarship Fund and the Virtual Reality and Simulation Lab which help students become trailblazing health professionals, who lead with the innovation, passion, and experience to impact local, national, and global populations.
Mason's Season of Giving is October 15-December 15.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the College's Day of Giving (October 25) a success! Your gifts directly impact students, who are future trailblazing health professionals.
If you haven’t made a gift yet, it’s not too late--Mason's Season of Giving runs through Dec. 15. Any amount can make a huge difference in a student’s life.
To honor the spirit of the Season of Giving, make a gift of $25 or more between October 15 and December 15 and receive a limited-edition decorative ornament to display your Mason pride!
Help Make Health Visible With Your Gift
At the College of Public Health, the support of our donors makes health visible here at Mason and around the world. Join us in creating a transformational experience for our students while serving our community by donating to one of the College’s top priorities.
Population Health Center
The Population Health Center is a groundbreaking community-academic partnership model with a three-fold mission: to deliver interprofessional clinical care for underserved populations, to conduct research of consequence to improve the public’s health, and to provide workforce development for Mason students, preparing them to be career-ready upon graduation. Located adjacent to the Peterson Family Health Sciences Hall, the Population Health Center is home to the 10th Mason and Partners (MAP) Clinic site, the Kaiser Permanente Community Wellness Hub, the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation Scholars program, the Northern Virginia Area Health Education Center (NVAHEC), and the Mason: Health Starts Here cohort study. Read more about the Population Health Center here.
Virtual Reality and Simulation Lab
The VR/Sim Lab plays an integral role in helping students gain the experiential learning required for on-time graduation and in delivering a curriculum focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Lab will play a leading role in providing practicum, filed placement, and clinical hours. Read more about the Virtual Reality and Simulation lab here.
Dean’s Excellence Fund
The Dean’s Excellence Fund allows the College to remain responsive and proactive in addressing the needs of our students, faculty, and community. This unrestricted source of funding is used to support the overall mission of the College and to enhance the student experience.
The College's Student Emergency Assistance Fund
The College Student Emergency Assistance Fund provides support to current College of Public Health students who are experiencing financial obstacles, such as homelessness and food insecurity. Donations to this fund allow the College to respond quickly and effectively to the immediate needs of our students. Read more about the Student Emergency Assistance Fund here.
