    Wayne Adams is the Senior Academic Affairs Coordinator for the College of Health and Human Services. He is a proud alumnus of Mason, earning his master’s degree in higher education in 2016. His primary role is to support the vision of the College of Health and Human Services through curriculum management, academic course scheduling, and accreditation.

    As a Marketing, Communication, and Graphic Design Coordinator, Emma Anderson manages many of the graphic design and photography campaigns for the College. In this role, she strives to make health visible in new, creative ways through the promotion of health research, student engagement, and diversity awareness. In 2020, she received a BA in Arts and Visual Technology with a concentration in Graphic Design from George Mason University.

  • Kelly Beckwith

    Assistant Director of Academic Programs, GCH

    Ms. Kelly Beckwith is the Assistant Director of Academic Programs for the Department of Global and Community Health. Beckwith is passionate about making sure all graduate students have an excellent experience from their time as a prospective student through (and beyond) graduation. Before coming to Mason, Beckwith was a public health practitioner in the field of school health.

    Director, Area Health Education Center at Mason, Nursing

    Ms. Karen Brown is the Director for the Northern Virginia Area Health Education Center (AHEC) at George Mason. She has over a decade experience in community and public health, working for regional teen tobacco prevention programs in eastern North Carolina, in addition to her years as a program coordinator and director with Texas AHEC.

    Jeremy Burton is a Lead Peer Recovery Specialist for the College of Health and Human Services, School of Nursing. He is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist with DBHDS and has graduated from the Recovery Leadership Academy in 2021, facilitated by VCU.

    Isela Caballero is the Communications Coordinator of the Department of Health Administration and Policy. In her role, Isela supports external communications, event and meeting management, social media, and office operations.

    Development Coordinator, CHHS

    Paula Campbell joined the College of Health and Human Services as the new Development Coordinator for the Development Office. Her responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day office functioning, maintaining donor gift records and foundation accounts, and supporting donor stewardship activities.

    Mr. Cantrell is a Marketing, Communication, and Graphic Design Coordinator for the College of Health and Human Services. He has a passion for professional writing and is particularly interested in developing engaging, inclusive social media campaigns. Prior to joining the College, he served as the Outreach and Media Specialist for Mason’s Counseling and Psychological Services.

    Isaac Chomitz is an Academic Program Coordinator in the Department of Global and Community Health. Chomitz is focused on advancing the PhD program and providing graduate students the resources they need to become leaders in public health science. Prior to coming to Mason, he worked in private and state laboratories as a microbiologist and molecular biologist.
