Biography
Andrew Furr is the Research Administrator for the Office of Research. He has over a decade of experience serving in various finance roles within higher education operations at two-year and four-year institutions, including Northern Virginia Community College and George Mason University.
Prior to this role, Andrew served in local government, focusing on budget, procurement, and special projects for Fauquier County. He has also served as the Budget and Office Manager for the Administrative Office at the George Mason University Arlington Campus. In this role, he managed the office budget, procurement, daily operations, and the invoicing of event rentals. Andrew has also served as the Operations Coordinator for the Loudoun Campus of Northern Virginia Community College, where he assisted with managing the campus budget, campus capital projects, maximizing building space usage, and campus facility rentals.
