CHHS Staff

  • Magnolia Morales started her journey of working at George Mason University in 2019. Prior to working at George Mason University, she obtained years of medical and management experience. She began at the Office of Student Affairs as an Administrative Assistant. She is currently an Admission Specialist at the College of Public Health, where she reviews applications involving the Nursing Programs. 

  • Rebecca Warden is a Senior Grants Administrator in the College of Public Health Office of Research. She has worked in research administration at Mason since 2008, serving in the Department of Psychology and the Office of Sponsored Programs prior to her current position at the College. She is a Certified Research Administrator through the Research Administrators Certification Council.

  • Isaac Chomitz is an Academic Program Coordinator in the Department of Global and Community Health. Chomitz is focused on advancing the PhD program and providing graduate students the resources they need to become leaders in public health science. Prior to coming to Mason, he worked in private and state laboratories as a microbiologist and molecular biologist.

  • Raven McCormick is the Assistant Director for Career Advising in the Office of Student Affairs within the College of Public Health. She joined the college in April 2020.

  • Joshua Fleck has over a decade of experience in higher education handling budget, finance, HR, and procurement using sponsored and non-sponsored funds. Prior to joining the College of Public Health in 2020, he worked at George Washington University handling various portfolios in their Schools of Medicine, Public Health, Education, Arts & Sciences, and working for the Office of the President. 

  • Ibrahim Kargbo is an Academic Advisor for undergraduate students in the College of Public Health.

  • Ms. Lisa Climer is Assistant Director of Practicum Education in the Department of Social Work. In this capacity, she advises graduate and undergraduate students entering practicum, teaches field seminar courses, and collaborates with community agencies and faculty to support and develop field placements and partnerships.

  • Ms. Thompson oversees the marketing and communications strategy for the College with particular focus on branding, strategic messaging, and engagement strategy as the College transitions to a College of Public Health.
