Biography
Ibrahim Kargbo is an Academic Advisor for undergraduate students in the College of Public Health. He earned his B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in International Health and Policy (2010) and Master of Public Health (2012) at George Mason University. He completed a postbaccalaureate science program in 2018 and was awarded an Intramural Research Training Fellowship at the National Institute of Health in 2017.
Ibrahim is passionate about academic advising and creating student outreach and engagement programs to build community. As a first-generation Black student, he is keenly aware of and works to address equity issues impeding students from succeeding to their fullest potential.
