Mason’s MHA program received the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) award for its cultural competency, community involvement, environmental focus, and accessibility.

Wrong-site surgery, medication errors, and fires in operating rooms can be devastating for patients, providers, hospitals, and insurance companies alike. Determining the true causes of these events can help hospitals improve their processes, leading to large impacts on costs and outcomes of care.

Mr. Brown is a financial and accounting executive with 35+ years experience with two premier diversified health care systems, each offering a full array of health services. He has served as an adjunct faculty member for over 20 years at George Mason University.

Dr. Madison is an Assistant Professor in Health Informatics and the Coordinator of the Health Informatics Capstone Program. Capitalizing on her experience in health policy and health informatics, as well as her clinical background, Dr. Madison is able to build bridges across disciplines and support collaborations among diverse groups of researchers.

Dr. Maddox is Professor and Chair of the Department of Health Administration and Policy at George Mason University. She is a nurse with a distinguished career in health services administration, health policy analysis and health services research.
