George Mason’s online Master of Nursing (MSN) programs continue to rise in the newly announced 2025 U.S. News & World Report rankings, signaling its academic excellence, innovative curriculum, and commitment to preparing nurses for leadership roles in a rapidly evolving health care landscape. 

Newest 2025 rankings for online programs 

  • #1 online MSN in Virginia for veterans (#14 nationally)

  • #33 online MSN among public institutions (#41 nationally) 

  • #11 online MSN program for veterans among public institutions (#18 nationally) 

This recognition of excellence continues the trend set by our School of Nursing and in person programs, which are ranked: 

  • #1 Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) among public institutions (#2 nationally) 

  • #4 MSN among public institutions (#10 nationally) 

  • #4 Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Virginia (#114 nationally)
