Doctor of Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing programs reach the top 10 according to most recent U.S. News & World Report.
The College is pleased to share that two School of Nursing programs have been recognized by the newest U.S. News & World Report rankings as among the top 10 of their discipline.
"Mason's DNP programs are building the next generation of healthcare leaders through an interprofessional approach that integrates public health and nursing. Our graduates stand at the forefront, ready to champion health equity and deliver transformative care across diverse populations in all health care environments,” said Margaret Rodan, ScD, MSN, MPH, acting director of the School of Nursing. "At the interconnection of public health and clinical expertise, Mason's interdisciplinary training equips nurses to emerge as pioneers in healthcare. They're prepared to lead, innovate, and advocate within the ever-evolving landscape of global health challenges."
The Doctor of Nursing (DNP) ranked #2 nationally and #1 among public universities, up 37 and 27 positions in the respective categories. The MSN ranked #10 nationally and #4 among public universities, rising 28 and 17 spots respectively.
Additionally, the online MSN ranks #49 nationally and #39 among public universities, rising 15 and 12 spots, respectively from last year.
Mason’s Online Master of Science in Nursing also ranks in top 50.
