Biography

Dr. Shikha Chandarana is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Global and Community Health at George Mason University. She is also a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Health Equity at Georgetown University Medical Center’s Department of Family Medicine and the Robert Graham Center. Her work focuses on advancing health equity through research, teaching, and policy engagement.

  • Immigrant and refugee health and social determinants of health
  • Maternal and child health disparities in the U.S. and globally
  • Queer health and health equity among sexual and gender minorities
  • Health systems and policy approaches to primary care access and equity
