Saad Alhammad is a PhD student in the department of Rehabilitation science. He was born and raised in Saudi Arabia and received his B.S. in Physical Therapy from King Saud University (KSU) in Riyadh. After finishing a one-year internship in PT, he was selected to be a Teaching Assistant in the Rehabilitation Science department at KSU. Saad received his Masters degree in Physiology from Ball State University, Indiana. He has more than 5 years experience as a lecturer at KSU teaching Physiology and PT clinical courses to undergraduate students.
His research interests include finding mechanisms of fatigability and studying the physiological effects of exercise adaptation in people with autoimmune diseases, specifically Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
