Mandy Rounds, PhD Rehabilitation Science '18

Mandy RoundsMandy's main research interest includes coming up with more efficient and innovative ways to improve balance and gait in individuals with disabilities. In addition, ways that will enrich the individual's life and provide methods that can be used for the clinic and at home. Lastly, finding a way to bridge the gap between researchers and clinicians to effectively come up with methods that will be used and improve the standard of therapy. 

Mandy received her BS in Integrative Studies from George Mason University in 2012, in which she realized the importance of community service. She learned to not lose sight of what is going on in the community and the world when it comes what is needed in research.
