Camille Barry, PhD ’92 knows why she gives to the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS)—because CHHS helped get her to where she is today. “I got so far in my career, to a place I would have never gotten to or risen to, had it not been for George Mason University," says Barry as she shares why she decided to generously support the Nutrition Kitchen in Peterson Family Health Sciences Hall. Thanks to Barry's support, more than 200 students and community members have already benefited from the classes, seminars, and events held in the Nutrition Kitchen since its doors opened early this year.
Here at CHHS, every act of generosity, like Barry's, counts. Join us on Tuesday, November 27 for Giving Tuesday—a global movement where millions of people around the world come together to support and champion the causes they believe in, like the education of tomorrow’s health care work force. Support your favorite CHHS cause—whether that’s scholarships for our deserving students or funding to help care for uninsured families served at our Mason and Partners Clinics. Make your gift today and give thanks to good health!
