Accelerated Master's Programs

Earn a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Five Years.

Academically strong Mason undergraduates with a commitment to research or graduate or professional studies may apply for the Bachelor's/Accelerated Master's (BAM) program. There is no graduate application fee for BAM applicants. Once accepted, students may apply 12 graduate credits to their undergraduate degrees and take an additional six credits that will apply to their graduate degree only. 

Mason undergraduate students can apply after completing 60 credits towards their bachelor’s degree. Students who have completed at least 75 credits toward their bachelor’s degree and no more than 100 credits toward the degree can begin taking graduate-level coursework. Students should consult with their academic advisor to discuss the advantages and options.
